Avenues of ServiceThe administration of the Rotary Club of Abilene is focus group (committee) structured - meaning that every member serves on a focus group and these groups plan and implement the planned activities of the club. The board is charged with overseeing these avenues of service. Focus groups submit a report to the board at the beginning of each Rotary year which is reviewed and approved by the board. These become the goals and objectives for the year. We implement the Object of Rotary through the four Avenues of Service - Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service & International Service - plus Membership Development, The Rotary Foundation and Fundraising.
